I joke about it, but my wife has never given me a hard time about my gun problem. Kids are out of the house, we discontinued our motorcycle hobby of 30 years (I had three road bikes just a few years ago, two four wheelers and a snowmobile - all gone now), and I don't buy expensive guns (good value, solid guns - hence Caniks are in the collection).
She enjoys shooting, while I enjoy shooting, cleaning, researching, and learning...and I am less likely to find myself mangled and tangled within a semi truck's suspension than my previous weekend hobby.

i did the motorcycle thing for almost 40 years, from HD's to Nortons, to Indians. wish i would have kept that one Chief! last bike was a 97 Road King i bought new in Germany. we rode to 11 different countries on it, then came back to the states in 98 after 10 years straight in Germany, prospected and patched with the VNVMC, road that out until i couldn't really ride anymore long distances due to a nice broken neck and a bunch of plates and screws, so after 6 years with them i called it quits. i do love to hunt so i got a nice 2007 Kaw Brute Force 750 and decked it out. I predator hunt, so i try to get out every other weekend to go shoot some coyotes, bobs, lions, and fox. this year has been thin due to it not being a good winter here in SW AZ, nothing is furred up, but it gets me out of the house.
